Bring your friends and enjoy some awesome local talent at our upcoming fundraiser on behalf of Cherryville Community Food and Resource Society! All proceeds raised go directly back into the various programs and services we offer to the Cherryville community including food bank services, youth and family programs, senior services, one-on-one supports, and more! Thanks to Food Banks Canada, we now have a freezer safe door installed to safely store all of our perishable items. Our freezer has on average 1500-3000lbs of frozen food that is distributed to Cherryville residents through monthly hampers and food security programs. We are so grateful to have this new door installed because we no longer have to worry about losing any perishable items due to inadequate equipment. Thank you again Food Banks Canada, we are absolutely thrilled with our new door!

The Cherryville community may be small in numbers, but it is BIG in giving!

Every year we have tons of supporters who make this day possible, starting at 6:00 in the morning and ending around 10:00 at night, families and individuals are given Christmas Hampers and Gifts. What initially started as a very small community service in 1971, this was the foundation that the Cherryville Community Food Bank Society started on…49 years ago, wow! It has flourished into a beautiful community building event where we support one another and ensure our people are taken care of during the holiday season.

Thank you to all the volunteers that support us each and every year, to donors who give so generously, and every person, group, and organization who make this service a possibility.

A message from the President of Cherryville Community Food Bank Society:

Well I am sad to say our little food bank is affected by Corona. We must stop our Thursday operations until further notice. If you need food please contact Barb and we will arrange pick up. 250-260-0562 or myself at 250-547-6646.

We are accepting donations and are following strict standards to keep our at risk population protected as best we can. Please wash your hands often. Stay away from crowds and if you feel sick-even a little-stay at home.

We will provide updates as they arise.

Please pass this message on to all residents in the Cherryville area so they are aware. Those that don’t or can’t use Facebook are at risk so tell your neighbors.
